These are a couple of special order pieces I made recently. Pricing is on a time-and-materials basis.
| Jeweler’s Blocks (right) Hard Maple; screw into jeweler’s bench top. Custom made to match design of prior blocks, but which were all chewed up from years of use. You can see the saw marks on the tips of these already. |  |

Organ Bench Height Adjusters (left) Hard Maple; our organ bench was not adjustable, and too high for our church organist. His feet did not reach the foot keyboard comfortably. These blocks allow the bench to be adjusted to 4 fixed heights: + ¾”, same as original, - ¾” and 1 & 1/2” lower than originally. This project required cutting the base of the legs off the bench and other custom measurements. An interesting exercise in careful flattening of parts and grooves so there is no rock or wobble. Stain, polyurethane or paint optional. |
